SELECTED GOVERNMENT SECURITY PROJECTS:

City of Columbia, South Carolina Water Works. Performed physical security threat assessments and recommended security upgrades for municipal water supply assets as part of EPA required RAMW assessment. The following assets were included in the scope of work: diversion dam, canal, spillway, raw water intakes, raw water reservoirs, filter plant, clear wells, high service pumps, distribution piping, stand pipes, elevated storage tanks, pump stations, pressure reducing valves, SCADA system, local area network and filter plant control center.

DeKalb County, Georgia Water Department. Performed physical security threat assessments and recommended security upgrades for municipal water supply assets as part of EPA required RAMW assessment. The following assets were included in the scope of work: raw water intakes, raw water reservoirs, filter plant, clear wells, high service pumps, distribution piping, stand pipes, elevated storage tanks, pump stations, pressure reducing valves, SCADA system, local area network and filter plant control center.

Fulton County, Georgia Water Department. Performed physical security threat assessments and recommended security upgrades for municipal water supply assets as part of EPA required RAMW assessment. The following assets were included in the scope of work: distribution piping, stand pipes, elevated storage tanks, pump stations, pressure reducing valves, SCADA system and local area network.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

  • Assisted in the development of National Facility Security Recommendations and Modifications (FSRM). Development took place in Washington, DC for the national security program. National design standards were established for security hardware, card access, CCTV, digital video storage, intercom and lighting. A prototypical application of these systems was developed for an en-route air traffic control center (ARTCC). The design standards and the prototypical application were used to bid and award a national contract to design and install security upgrades at FAA facilities.

  • Performed security site adapt investigation and design for the Atlanta TRACON located in the Southern Region of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Work included familiarization with facility operational requirements such as visitor parking, shift change, loading dock security, and establishing controlled access zones. Security systems were designed to meet Department of Justice (DOJ) recommended standards for a Level IV Federal Facility. Systems included in the design were perimeter intrusion detection, card access, CCTV, intercom, and lighting.

  • Performed vulnerabilities assessment and security systems design for the San Juan, Puerto Rico; Combined Center Approach Control Facility (CERAP) located in the Southern Region of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Survey work included familiarization with facility operational requirements such as setbacks, visitor parking, shift change, loading dock security, and establishing controlled access zones. Security systems were designed to meet Department of Justice (DOJ) recommended standards for a Level IV Federal Facility.  Systems included in the design were perimeter intrusion detection, card access, CCTV, digital video storage, intercom, and lighting.  Hardware was selected to control doors and gates in a secure manner while still meeting the requirements of the Life Safety Code.

  • Performed vulnerabilities assessment and security systems design for the Miami en-route air traffic control center (ARTCC) located in the Southern Region of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Survey work included familiarization with facility operational requirements such as an urban site, visitor parking; shift change, loading dock security, and establishing controlled access zones.  Security systems were designed to meet Department of Justice (DOJ) recommended standards for a Level IV Federal Facility.  Systems included in the design were perimeter intrusion detection, card access, CCTV, intercom, and lighting.  Hardware was selected to control doors and gates in a secure manner while still meeting the requirements of the Life Safety Code.

  • Developed procedures manual for security upgrades to the Miami en-route air traffic control center (ARTCC) located in the Southern Region of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Manual development included implementation planning, guard response instructions, software configuration, badging procedures, and system documentation.

United States Postal Service (USPS)

  • Performed vulnerabilities assessment, security systems design, and construction phase services for the Atlanta Cluster Security Master Plan. Survey work took place at multiple sites and included familiarization with facility operational requirements such as urban sites, visitor parking, shift change, loading dock security, and establishing controlled access zones. Security systems were designed to meet USPS design guidelines.  Systems included in the design were card access, CCTV, intercom, and lighting. Hardware was selected to control doors and gates in a secure manner while still meeting the requirements of the Life Safety Code.

  • Performed vulnerabilities assessment and security systems design for the  Macon Post Office and Distribution Center.  Survey work included familiarization with facility operational requirements such as an urban site, visitor parking, shift change, loading dock security, and establishing controlled access zones. Security systems were designed to meet USPS design guidelines. Systems included in the design were card access, CCTV, intercom, and lighting. Hardware was selected to control doors and gates in a secure manner while still meeting the requirements of the Life Safety Code.

Gwinnett County, Georgia. Performed vulnerabilities assessment and security systems design for Lake Lanier pump station. Survey work included familiarization with facility operational requirements such as minimum visual disruption of residential community, watercraft access, emergency personnel access,municipal employee access, establishment of controlled access zones and remote monitoring. Systems included in the design were intrusion detection, CCTV, digital video storage, fiber optic video transmission and lighting.

SELECTED COMMERCIAL SECURITY PROJECTS:

Atlanta Journal and Constitution. Performed consulting services for the procurement and installation of security upgrades to the Marietta Street facility. Work included familiarization with facility operational requirements such as parking, shift change, loading dock security, and establishing controlled access zones.  Systems included in the upgrade were card access, CCTV, intercom, and gates.
